Lyrical Dance

      30 minutes for set warmup, 20 minutes of technique across the floor, and 40 minutes of choreography. Often the choreography is done to the lyrics. During this class you will be encouraged and challenged to control your movement gracefully, improve your musicality andexpress yourself. 75 minutes.

    Vaganova Classical Ballet for Adults & Teens

      A Classical Ballet Method for Teens and Adults: "Perpetual Motion" This class teaches both intermediate level Vaganova and Cecchetti ballet methods.
      - 40 minute classical ballet barre
      - Classical and lyrical choreography
      - Stretching, abdominal & core exercises based on yoga and the Pilates method
      - 10 minute weight training for upper body
      Requires ballet shoes, yoga mat, & 3-5 lb weights schedule

    Dance Exercise at 6:30 AM

      A gentler alternative to aerobic dance. Modern dance with lots of toning, stretching exercises. A touch of ballet and jazz.

    Intermediate Modern Dance

      Each class begins with a full warm-up focusing on alignment and technique, and continues with movement across the floor. Then we’ll put together a longer phrase—with opportunities for improvisation. Let’s dance!

    Middle Eastern Belly Dancing

      Learn the sensuous and beautiful movements of this ancient art form while building strength and flexibility! Incorporating music and dance from Egypt, Turkey, North Africa, and Persia, this class covers basic bellydance isolations with an emphasis on balance and control.

      Groove Tots

        (4-5 yrs) kids class MOVE IT... GROOVE IT... STOMP IT... LOVE IT! The students will have an opportunity to improve their strength and flexibility, develop coordination and rhythmic ability and learn to dance as a group. All techniques are taught with a focus on fitness, performance and FUN! If you want to perform and shine and just leap across the floor.....this class is for you. Dancers are taught Brain Gym to assist with learning and dance technique is gradually infused into the class based on the readiness of each dancer.


      Contact Improvisation

        Is a form of modern dance. Its fundamentals include gravity, weight and momentum. The students in this class, learn how to become completely aware of their own weight and personal ways of moving. At the same time, the students acquire the awareness of using shared weight while moving in contact with others. The class format allows for a fun and safe environment for learning the basics while creating a wonderful sense of community.

      Do Your Own Dance

        Free-form, improvisational, spontaneous dance. Move to music from around the world, bring your own favorite music to share. Dance your own way, alone or with others, with shoes or without. No previous dance experience necessary; no steps or movements to learn; dance and discover the movement and mystery that is already present in your self. All ages welcome.

      Hip Hop/Jazz

        30 minute warm-up. 30 minutes of technique and various progressions. 30 minutes of stylized and super energetic funktified choreography. Teared toward intermediate dancers.

      Global Dance Party

        A high energy choreographed dance-based workout for cardio and strength training. This class uses PILATES-based exercises. You get to move to African groove, hip-hop, Bollywood, salsa, musical theater, pop-jazz whatever move our souls! An intense workout that feels like a party with friends. 75 mins
